Dr. Emma Farquharson’s journey with artificial intelligence began in 2020, when she was selected to join the beta testing group for ChatGPT—two years before its public release. This early access offered a front-row seat to one of the most transformative technologies of our time and revealed just how powerfully AI could reshape the way we work, think, and create.

Inspired by what she saw, Emma co-founded SharedIntel AI to help professionals and businesses harness the power of AI—without the overwhelm. Holding firm in her belief that AI isn’t here to replace people—it thrives when guided by skilled professionals who bring insight, creativity, and smart prompting to the table, her mission is clear: to make AI practical, accessible, and transformative for real-world teams. 

With a Ph.D. from Cornell University and a career that began in molecular genetics and scientific communication, Emma originally worked on developing virus-based diagnostics to improve food and water safety in developing countries. Enna’s scientific training and curiosity make her the perfect guide to demystify this complex new tool.
