About
We built SharedIntel AI because most AI advice is either too technical or too generic. Print businesses don’t need hype, they need workflows that respect reality: busy teams, tight margins, and quality standards.
Why SharedIntel AI
SharedIntel AI is an AI implementation, training, and workflow automation partner for the print, promo, signage, and graphic communications industry. We help companies adopt AI and automation in a way that fits how their teams actually work, produces results they can measure, and holds up under real operating conditions.
We are not a software company, and we don’t sell AI tools for you to figure out on your own. We are an implementation partner. We build, we train, and we support.
Dr. Emma Farquharson background in scientific research shaped a simple operating principle for SharedIntel AI: test, observe, refine. We don’t guess what will work. We don’t chase trends. We build, measure, and adjust, the same way a well-run production floor does. That discipline carries through everything: how we design training, how we build AI tools for your team, and how we measure whether adoption is actually holding.
Six areas where we work with your team
Six areas where we work with your team
Every engagement starts with understanding your operation. From there, we focus on the areas that will return the most time and clarity to your team.
We find the repetitive, manual processes inside your operation and build automations that handle them. This includes converting existing SOPs into draft automations, recording and structuring staff workflows and turning them into automated processes, and building end-to-end automations for recurring tasks like research-to-output pipelines. We use accessible automation platforms to build these workflows, and every automation we deliver is built so your team can maintain and adjust it without outside help.
We help teams use AI to cut the time spent on repetitive client communication, internal updates, and cross-department coordination, so that customer-facing and operational staff can spend their time on work that actually requires their judgment.
We help companies document and standardize their internal processes using AI-powered tools. This makes it easier to onboard new staff, keep work consistent across shifts and departments, and reduce errors that come from undocumented or inconsistent workflows.
We build internal AI tools trained on your company’s own documentation: standard operating procedures, pricing guidelines, product information, and institutional knowledge. The goal is to give your team reliable, consistent answers without depending on a single experienced person being available.
We deliver AI training that is role-based and tied to real workflows. Your team learns to use AI on the tasks they’re already responsible for. That’s the only reliable way to make adoption last.
We stay involved after setup. Documentation, usage guidance, refinement calls, and direct access for updates and troubleshooting. Your needs change, and we adjust alongside you.

CEO & Co-Founder
Emma Farquharson, Ph.D.
AI strategist for the print and signage industry
“AI isn’t here to replace humans. It’s here to enhance what skilled professionals can do. With SharedIntel AI, you’ll have the strategic edge to lead the way.”
Emma Farquharson, Ph.D. began working with artificial intelligence tools in 2020, when she was selected as a beta tester for ChatGPT — two years before its public release. That early exposure shaped a clear point of view: results come from how a team implements, documents, and standardizes the work, not from the tool alone.
Emma co-founded SharedIntel AI to help organizations adopt AI with clarity and discipline. She believes these systems perform best when guided by skilled professionals with strong standards, good judgment, and deep industry context — which is why her focus is on print, signage, and promotional production, where accuracy, quality control, and consistency directly protect margin and customer trust. She grew up in the industry alongside her father, Bill Farquharson, and returned to it after a career in research science with a clear mission: make AI practical for the people and operations she knows best.
Emma holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University in molecular genetics and scientific communication. Her earlier work engineering virus-based diagnostics for food and water safety reinforced a lasting commitment to evidence-based decision-making, responsible use, and clear governance — principles that carry through every client engagement.
Her methodology is simple: Strategy, Structure, and Accountability — a documented plan, clear implementation steps, and validation protocols that make AI adoption reliable across the entire team.

Three ways we help teams implement AI
AI Strategy & Governance
Define what AI should (and should not) do inside your business, and set standards so your team adopts it consistently.
Training That Sticks
Teach teams how to use AI for real tasks with repeatable prompts, guided practice, and implementation support.
Custom Internal AI Spaces
Build internal AI workspaces grounded in your documentation to answer repeat questions and standardize outputs.
Are you ready to elevate your AI strategy?
Tell us what your team is trying to improve—quoting speed, intake consistency, proofing flow, or adoption confidence, and we’ll point you to the right next step.
F.A.Q.
Why was SharedIntel AI founded?
Dr. Emma Farquharson saw firsthand that print and signage professionals were being told AI mattered but given no practical way to use it. She founded SharedIntel AI to close that gap — bringing a research scientist’s discipline to workflow problems that cost print companies time, margin, and morale every day.
What does SharedIntel AI do for print teams?
SharedIntel AI helps print, signage, and promotional teams adopt practical AI in the parts of the business where it saves time and protects margin. We support implementation through training, workflow mapping, internal standards, and repeatable validation steps—so teams can use AI confidently in day-to-day operations without disrupting quality control.
How is your approach different from generic AI training?
Most AI training shows features. We focus on implementation. That means starting with real operational constraints (time pressure, customer expectations, production accuracy, and internal handoffs), then introducing AI in a controlled, measurable way. Our work is built around structured workflows, documentation, and validation habits—so adoption is steady, usable across roles, and aligned with the standards that print teams rely on.
Do you build AI tools or only train teams?
Both. SharedIntel AI delivers training and implementation support, and we also build internal AI “spaces” and optimized agents grounded in a company’s workflows, documentation, and standards. The right approach depends on your team’s needs: some organizations start with training to build internal capability; others pair training with customized internal systems to standardize outputs and reduce admin overhead.
What types of results can a print team expect?
Results vary by workflow, but common outcomes include faster quote and estimate preparation, cleaner internal handoffs, more consistent customer communication, reduced rework caused by unclear instructions, and quicker access to internal knowledge. We prioritize improvements that reduce administrative throughput issues and protect margin.
